Education Ticonderoga School District has very high educational standards. It includes super public and private schooling available through the Ticonderoga Elementary, Middle School, and High School (K-12) and Saint Mary's School (K-8) an adjunct to St. Mary's Church. The school district is known as one of the top in New York State. Higher education is offered at the Ticnderoga campus of North Country Community College featuring specialized job training, continuing education, extension courses, seminars and conferences geared to life-long learning. Fort Ticonderoga'sThompson-Pell Research Center offers education courses and maintains an extensive library for research.
