This was one of the earliest Carnegie libraries and one of the only ones without his name because Andrew Carnegie was an admirer of the Scottish Black Watch Regiment.

The library is an attractive interestingly-designed red brick building with a comfortable, large-windowed reading room with window seats and a handsome fireplace.

The library has internet access and other electronic resources, local history collections, children's books and programs, current fiction and non-fiction, inter-library loan capability, audio and video tapes, and popular magazines. The Library is now wireless.

The library is open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
