

Ticonderoga Historical Society
The Hancock House Museum and Research Library was dedicated in 1926. The Ticonderoga Historical Society today manages this elegant structure as a regional museum and reference library. There are interesting and exciting exhibits on all four floors of the Hancock House. The modern library houses a large collection of regional material on civic, social and economic elements and also has one of the largest collections of genealogical resource materials in the region.

Lower Falls
In the center of Ticonderoga, is Bicentennial Park. The park offers athletic fields, walking paths and magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, the La Chute River and the lower falls.

Lake George
The Northern Lake George region is pure and unspoiled with lakes and mountains offering every imaginable outdoor activity with spectacular vistas The view traveling into Ticonderoga from the south is breathtaking, one of the most picturesque in the Adirondacks! The view of the Queen of American Lakes is at its finest here. Lake George is 32 miles long and covers an area of approximately 28,200 acres with a maximum depth of 190 feet. The lake is 3 miles across at the widest point. Bass fishing tournaments abound on the lake.

Lake Champlain
Lake Champlain is the sixth largest lake in the United States. It is connected by way of the New York State canal system to New York City and the western part of the state, and to Montreal, by the Richelieu River. Lake Champlain is 121 miles long and 12 miles across at its broadest point, offering 585 miles of shoreline, and has one of the nations largest freshwater beaches. Enjoy sailing, boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and wind surfing on the waters. Sandy beaches, rocky bluffs amd picturesque settings, are there for your enjoyment. The lake is deep as 400 ft. in some places and home to over 60 species of fish including walleye pike and smallmouth bass; anglers can indulge in year-round fishing on one of the greatest freshwater fishing locations in the country. Enjoy hiking, bicycling, bird watching, or strolling along the shore.

Adirondacks
The Adirondack Region of Northern New York includes the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park, the surrounding countryside, and the entire western shore of Lake Champlain. The region is best known for its mountains (including the highest peaks in New York) and lakes (more shoreline than Vermont and New Hampshire combined).

Lake George Steamboat Company
Visitors enjoy cruising on the Mohician, one of the three boats owned by the Lake George Steamboat Company, which docks at Baldwin Dock. Passengers can board here and travel to Lake George Village.
